Parking Australia is committed to safeguarding the privacy of delegates, exhibitors, sponsors, and all participants engaging with PACE 2022.
- What information does Parking Australia hold about you?
Some of your personal information (including your name, job title, company’s name, telephone and mobile numbers, postal and email address, your area of interest) may be collected by Parking Australia. We also collect personal information from you when you contact us (by email or otherwise).
In addition, and in common with many other online services, we may use “cookies” to store and sometimes track information about you.
A cookie does not give us access to your computer or any information about you, other than information about how you use the website and the data you choose to share with us.
We use the following:
- Strictly necessary cookies – These are cookies that are required for the operation of our websites. They include, for example, cookies that enable you to log whilst registering or paying invoices.
- Google analytical cookies – They allow us to recognise and count the number of visitors and to see how visitors move around the Websites when they are using it. This helps us to improve the way the websites work, for example, by ensuring that users are finding what they are looking for easily.
We may also collect information about visits to our website, including the full Uniform Resource Locators (URL), clickstream to, through and from the websites (including date and time), pages viewed, page response times, length of visits to certain pages, page interaction information (such as scrolling, clicks, and mouse-overs), and methods used to browse away from the page.

- What does Parking Australia do with your personal information?
We use your Personal Information in the following ways: (a) to perform a contract with you; (b) for the purposes of legal compliance; and (c) to improve our business, analyse the use of our website and services and support our customers).
The Personal Information described above is stored on Parking Australia’s user databases (unless you notify us that you no longer wish us to retain such information, in which case it will be deleted).
Parking Australia will use your Personal Information to contact you for those purposes to which you have implicitly consented. E.g., if you register for the event, Parking Australia will email you information relating to your booking, newsletters regarding the event, and future events.
If you do not wish to receive newsletter information, please update your subscription preferences in your online account, or click the link to unsubscribe in the footer of any email. Please note, you cannot unsubscribe from system emails relating to your registration or exhibitor booth booking.
Parking Australia uses the information which you provide to us when visiting the website, or opening emails in an aggregate form to determine browsing patterns, open rates, and subjects of interest.
- Keeping your personal information up to date
We take all reasonable action to ensure that the information we collect from you and use, is accurate, complete, and up to date.
The accuracy of the information depends to a large extent on the information you provide. We recommend that you keep us up to date with changes to your details, including your name, company, job title, email address and office address.
You have the right to see the Personal Information we hold about you and to ask us to: (a) make any changes to ensure that any Personal Information we hold about you is accurate and up to date; (b) erase any Personal Information we hold about you.
- Who is your personal information disclosed to?
The contact details of attendees to PACE are provided to our nominated event management company (All Occasions Group), Adelaide Expo Hire (for exhibitors and sponsors) and the venue for PACE – Adelaide Convention Centre (for the purposes of contact tracing). Only information deemed strictly necessary will be released to external companies for the purposes of coordinating the event.
Parking Australia will only share the name, organisation, and location state of consenting attendees with PACE’s event sponsors. Attendees are provided with an opportunity to withhold their consent during the registration process, should they wish this information to remain confidential.
- How do we protect your information?
Parking Australia makes every effort to create a secure environment for your Personal Information, Parking Australia cannot guarantee the safety of any Personal Information which is transmitted to us on-line and/or via email as, unfortunately, the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure. Although Parking Australia will take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your Personal Information, any transmission is at your own risk. Once we have received your information, we will use appropriate technical and organisational measures to try to prevent unauthorised access.
If Parking Australia has provided you with a password which enables you to access certain parts of the website, you are responsible for keeping this password confidential. We ask you not to share a password with anyone.
